CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE case in which TDC Airline Services employee Tenesha Hobson is accused of embezzling funds has been adjourned to September 30, 2008.

Hobson, who is on a EC$25 000 bail with two sureties, appeared before Magistrate Yasmine Clarke yesterday to answer to the charge, but Police Prosecutor Inspector Trevor Mills told the court that the prosecution was not ready to proceed with the matter.

His request for an adjournment was granted by the Magistrate and Hobson will have to return to court on Tuesday, September 30.

In the same court, Delisa Smithen Bridgeman was fined EC$3 000 while Gary Smithen was fined EC$800 for possession of controlled drugs. They were represented by Dr. Henry Browne.   ~~Adz:Right~~

Dr. Browne told the court that there was no evidence to show that his clients were involved in a ring with intention of selling the drugs.
