Basseterre, St. Kitts - As students and teachers settle into their classrooms for the academic year, they will certainly recognize that the internal and external aesthetics of some of the schools were enhanced to meet their immediate needs.

The TDC Group of Companies, one of the leading businesses in the Federation, gave its support to the remodeling efforts at a number of learning institutions over the past nine (9) weeks.

Five thousand dollars (EC$5000.00) in goods and services were donated to schools that included stationery supplies, business furniture, paints, and building materials.

According to Mrs. Jonelle Rawlins-Drew, Manager of the TDC Client Relations and Marketing Department, “the donations were made in keeping with the Company’s 2008/09 mantra, which is Dream, Believe, Achieve.”

She further stated that, “the Company is a strong advocate of educational advancement and pledged to support ventures that would enhance the teaching and learning environment for staff and students alike.”  ~~Adz:Right~~

The recipients of the goodwill gestures were the Sandy Point High School, Basseterre High School, Project Strong, the Special Education Unit, Maurice Hillier Junior Memorial School, George Moody Stuart School, and the Adult Education Learning Centre.
