SCASPA Awards Staff

Basseterre, St. Kitts- Two weeks of celebration to mark the fifteenth anniversary of the St. Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority culminated in an Awards Ceremony on Saturday, September 6, 2008.  The setting for this important event was the beautifully decorated Port Zante Cruise Terminal.

Awards were presented to thirty-four (34) employees who have been working at the Authority since its establishment on September 1, 1993.  Each officer received a personalized plaque and a monetary gift.

 First and second place winners of events held at the Fun and Sports Day on August 30 accepted their medals and trophies. 

Recognition was also paid to Maintenance staff who participated in the Community Outreach Project – the repainting of a classroom and front of the Special Education Unit.  The awards were distributed by the Hon. Curtis Martin, Speaker of the National Assembly and former Director of SCASPA.  ~~Adz:Right~~

Messrs. Linkon Maynard, Chairman, and Errol Douglas, General Manager/CEO, addressed the gathering.  Entertainment was provided by DJ Beado, two young dancers and SCASPA’s male and female models who displayed clothing from Island Hopper.

  First General Manager of the Authority, Mr. Sydney Osborne, Board Members, Management, Staff, family and friends were present to celebrate the achievements of the Authority, and recognize officers for their contribution.
