BASSETERRE St. Kitts, October 12th, 2012 -- The St. Kitts and Nevis Amateur Athletic Association will be hosting its second consecutive Road Relay series this Sunday 14th October 2012 at 4:00pm. The competing teams will commence competition from Parsons Village moving eastward (via St. Pauls) finishing in Newton Ground Village.
At the inaugural event held on Sunday 7th October 2012, a total of fourteen (14) teams participated from four (4) clubs. The relay originated from the G Spot Night Club in Sandy Point. The baton exchanges were as follows:
1st – Romney Ground, Sandy Point (by the cemetery)
2nd – New Guinea (boat yard)
3rd – Conners (bus stop)
Finish – Verchilds (bus stop)

The SKNAAA extend congratulations to all persons who participated in the 1st race of the 2012 Road Relay series. Villagers and supporters are encouraged to cheer on the athletes as the cruise through your neighborhood this weekend.
Transportation for participants at this Sunday's event will be provided by the Ministry of Education school buses departing from 'The Traffic' on the corner of Cayon & Fort Street and from Verchilds at 3pm.
