Basseterre, St Kitts, October 17th, 2012 -- Entrepreneurs, business leaders, managers, and supervisors throughout the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) will explore and challenge what they know about building solutions to address the business challenges of the 21st century during the ECCU Business Symposium and Innovation Forum hosted by the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and the Financial Information Month (FIM) partners.
The Symposium, which is part of the activities for FIM 2012, will be held on 17 October at the Sir Cecil Jacob Auditorium, ECCB Headquarters, St Kitts and transmitted via video conference throughout the ECCU.
The theme for the Symposium is “Identifying Business Opportunities”. This reflects the FIM theme, “Challenge Yourself: Innovate-Compete-Succeed!” The featured presenters for the Symposium and the topics they will address are as follows:
• Mr Julian Hall, entrepreneur and author from the United Kingdom – Re-defining and Re-tooling the Business Sector Through Technology.
• Mr Claudius Francis, business consultant from Saint Lucia – Entrepreneurship, Business Models and Financing Innovation.
• Mr Andre Harding, business consultant from Barbados – Commercialising Innovation.
• Mr Richard Boon, entrepreneur from the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis - Strategic Foresight, Strategic Agility and the Future Orientation of the Private Sector.
As an addition to the Symposium, participants will have the opportunity to purchase the book titled, “From Entrepreneur to Ultrapreneur – 100 Ways to Up Your Game” authored by
Mr Julian Hall.
