Magalhaes said that his hope for this sports discipline is to have more clinics and to start a cooporation programme in the schools as well, because it is an important part of youths’ lives to occupy their time and burn energy in something as useful as sports.
He went on to state that the Brazilian Embassy has an idea of using the schools as a starting point to have Brazilian coaches here to assist the coaches in St. Kitts in developing extracurricular activities in the different football arena, noting that there are several types of football which are played in Brazil.
He said that one of the aims of Paradise Cup is to not only make football better known but also St. Kitts and Nevis better known in Brazil, as well as a better known tourist destination.
