BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FOUR persons were reportedly injured in an early morning traffic accident on the Frigate Bay Road.

Reports reaching SKNVibes state that at about 4:00 a.m. today (Sep. 12) four individuals were taken to the JNF General Hospital after the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a lamp pole on the Frigate Bay Road.

This media house learnt that the driver of the vehicle (RA769), a white Toyota Yaris, admitted to the police that he had lost control which caused him to crash into the lamp pole and breaking it in the process.

Further information states that the injured persons were passengers of the vehicle but nothing was said of their condition. However, unconfirmed reports indicate that the driver escaped unscathed and residents of the immediate area were without electricity for the earlier part of the day.

When contacted earlier this morning, Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Cromwell Henry promised to provide more details on the accident.
