Press Release

ST. GOERGE'S Grenada, October 22nd 2012: Students and teachers at the Happy Hill Secondary School extended warm welcome to Leader of the Opposition Dr. The Right Hon. Keith Mitchell when he visited the school last Friday to give moral support to the staff and students following a recent incident which left one student dead.

At a general assembly the Opposition Leader (who returned to the island the night before) says he understands the traumatic experience they would have had and the challenges they may face as they try to cope. He encouraged the students to support each other and to learn every possible lesson that they can.

He said they should use the lessons learnt in a positive way so that ultimately they will become stronger and better individuals.

The Opposition Leader and Member of Parliament for St. George North West promised to continue visiting the school as he has always done in the past and pledged his continued support in every possible way.

Dr. Mitchell also appeals to students and young people in Grenada to use non- violent means to resolve their conflicts.
