BASSETERRE St. Kitts, October 23rd 2012 - WISH IT, WANT IT, DO IT” is 15 year old Kadesha Hodge’s mantra. She has put this mantra in motion by excelling in athletics at the Verchild’s High School.
She currently holds school records in athletics and is the 2011- 2012 Verchild’s High School Sports Woman of the Year.
She enjoys singing, dancing, acting and being with friends. Kadesha also has a passion for the sciences.
Although she excels in all 9 subject areas that she is currently studying, she has a keen interest for the sciences as she aspires to become a Forensic Pathologist.
Born on March 14th 1997, Kadesha is the first of her mothers 6 children.
She holds her mother dear to her heart as she deems her to be a great role model.
“My mother has had many struggles and she is a fighter. She talks to me about what she has had to endure so that I could make better decisions and cautions me to avoid making the same mistakes she has made."
As The Verchild’s High School celebrates 20 years of existence, part of their celebrations is to host this year's school pageant with a difference.
This year's pageant promises to be exciting and of a high standard.
To this end, Contestant #5, Kadesha Hodge, will be representing the platform, Stalwarts; recognizing the hard work and contributions of past and present students and teachers of the Bright Star in The West!
