                                        BVI Fishing Complex to be the Focus of next Public Eye

    ~~Adz:Right~~Roadtown, Tortola- The BVI Fishing Complex will be the focus of the Department of Information and Public Relations’ next live Public Eye television programme on Thursday, September 18 on HLSCC Channel 52.

     

    Panellists will include the Manager of the BVI Fishing Complex Mr. Rick Evans, Fishing Complex Floor Supervisor Mr. Lloyd Williams, Fisheries Extension Officer in the Conservation and Fisheries Department Mrs. Jasmine Hodge-Bannis, and Mr. Elton Gordon, a local fisherman.

     

    Some topics for discussion are the services, plans and new proposals for the BVI Fishing Complex.
    The television programme is part of the BVI Fishing Complex’s initiative to keep the public informed about its activities. 

     

    The general public is invited to be a part of the studio audience at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College’s Learning Resource Centre or to participate in the interactive call-in programme by telephoning 494-6517 between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Thursday.

     

    The BVI Fishing Complex aims to provide the highest quality of seafood and fisherman product while providing a safe, healthy environment for their associates.  The Fishing Complex falls under the portfolio of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour who is the Government arm responsible for the effective management of natural resources Territory-wide.
