Two Kittitian youths arrested in B.V.I.

~~Adz:Left~~ Tortola, BVI - Two Kittitian teenagers will go before a B.V. I. judge on October 10 for a preliminary hearing after the two and another youngster were arrested and charged for attempted armed robbery, unlawful and malicious wounding, and armed robbery.
The two males, Maverick Tyson, 19, and Alexis Claxton, 18, both of St. Kitts, along with a female, Shivaughn Hodge, 19, of North Carolina reportedly lured a Purcell Estate resident from his home and attacked him on August 15.
The victim told police that one of the males was carrying a gun at the time of the attack.
The man was reportedly robbed of personal property and injured during the incident. He received medical treatment for said injuries at Peebles Hospital and was discharged.
The three suspects were picked up by police between August 29 and 30 and remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison on Tortola.
The two Kittitian males were said to be vacationing in the BVI at the time the incident occurred.
