BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – WHAT took others twice the time and more to accomplish, Glendra Phillip of Kajola Kristada’s Connector Line has captured the prestigious award of Employee of the Month (EOM) for the month of October 2012.

An employee with the company for three years, the 33-year-old says she is accustomed to putting her best foot forward but was totally shocked when informed of her selection.

“I got a phone call and when I went to the office I saw my supervisors and others there. I wanted to know what was going on. I thought I was in trouble. But then my supervisor turned to me and said I was selected…and after a pause, she explained that I was selected Employee of the Month.”

The mother of three explained that she is proud of her accomplishments and up until the time of interview she had not yet shared the great news with her children, but promised that she would have done so in short time.

From all accounts, winning Kajola’s Employee of the Month title is not as easy a feat as persons may presume. And in order for employees to be even nominated for candidacy, their performance over a specific period would have to be measured against specific criteria.

These include: Punctuality, Attitude, Efficiency, Attendance and Quality at work.

She is making no promises, but advised that her intentions are to continue putting her best foot forward with the hope that she could soon repeat this accomplishment.

“I will try and see if I can win this again. It is the first time that I won this award and I feel happy that I did. My hard work really paid off.

The Management and Staff of SKNVibes take the opportunity to congratulate Phillips on her award and to encourage her to continue with the good work.
