Great benefits announced for Bank of Nevis Gold Club members

CHARLESTOWN, Nevis - THE Bank of Nevis yesterday launched The BON Gold Club for customers who have reached the golden age of 50 years and over.
The Club was launched at a ceremony held outside the bank’s premises on Main Street and was witnessed by top officials and employees of the bank, customers and invited guests.
General Manager of the Bank L. Everette Martin, Board Chairman Richard Lupinacci, Operations Manager Lorna Hunkins, Chairman Marketing Committee Kevin Huggins, Director Hanzel Manners, and Bronte Swanston-Hendrickson Marketing Officer all spoke during the ceremony and articulated the privileges and benefits contained in the BON Gold Club package.

The privileges and benefits include Express Customer Service, where Club members will no longer wait in long lines; all they will need to show is their Bon Gold Club ID card and they will receive express service.
Members of the Club only need to present their BON Gold Club ID card and they will receive valuable discounts at the following select business places in St. Kitts and Nevis – Evelyn’s Drug Store, City Drug Store(St. Kitts), Bargain House Retail Outlet (BHRO), Main Street Supermarket, Best Buy Supermarket (St.Kitts and Nevis), Chevy’s Calypso Bar and Grill, Eden Life Centre, Caribbean Smiles Dental Clinic, Eye Care Express (St. Kitts and Nevis), TDC (St. Kitts and Nevis), S.L. Horsfords & Co Ltd (St. Kitts and Nevis), Courts Department Store (St. Kitts and Nevis), Beyond Homes Ltd., Chapter One Bookstore and the Hermitage.
Also in the package are monthly interest payments, where the bank will calculate and pay interest monthly on the members’ savings and fixed deposit accounts.
The Bank of Nevis has also waived service charges for Club members on drafts, managers’ cheques, standing orders, traveller’s cheques and checking accounts.
Members will enjoy reduced commission on select products and services such as cheque books, wire transfers, brokerage services and certain debit card transactions. Higher interests will be paid on savings and fixed deposit accounts.
The rates on savings accounts are four percent on minimum balances of $10 000 and five percent on balances of $50 000 and over.
A quarter percent more than the normal interest rate will be paid on Fixed Deposit Accounts. The Club members will also benefit from a lower interest rate on loans. ~~Adz:Right~~
The benefits will be extended to spouses, even if they are under the age of 50 years, provided that they are joint account holders.
