The Pink Lily All Cancer Awareness Campaign
CHARLESTOWN Nevis, December 3rd, 2012 -- Purpose, is to produce, purchase and distribute Educational & Awareness material relating to “All types of Cancers” throughout St. Kitts & Nevis, to all communities; including the hospital, health centres, Doctors’ offices, health services, businesses, schools and churches, by way of leaflets, literature, magazines, posters, billboards, banners, newspaper & internet articles, TV & radio broadcasts and printed garments, peripherals & accessories.
WHY?
To help raise awareness of the different types of cancers that have, can and will affect us or someone we know at some time throughout our lives.
To educate on the different signs to look out for when you are not feeling well, have had an on-going physical complaint or you notice something different about your body.
To provide information that will encourage healthy life style choices, prevention and the early detection of cancer, to enable early treatment and ultimately save lives.
Pink Lily has started distributing all cancer awareness literature and information.
This information has been generously contributed by Macmillan Cancer Support “the UK’s leading cancer Support Organisation” for Pink Lily’s All Cancer Awareness Campaign.
The literature gives factual information on cancer and other valuable advice on healthy lifestyle changes and an insight into understanding your feelings when faced with and coping with a diagnosis of cancer.
All the booklets contain UK related statistics, support details and treatments available in the UK, however all the Cancer Awareness Content is universal and relates to anyone regardless of location.
If you would like material to distribute or require any additional copies, Pink Lily will be happy to provide further material (subject to availability). Please quote booklet reference number (if known) and allow up to 72 hours for delivery.
