BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – NEWLY-appointed St. Kitts Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Country Manager Frances-Ann Satney was warmly welcomed by over 50 banking directors and managers, investment and financial personnel and bank clients from across the Eastern Caribbean, at a stylish cocktail held at the Ocean Terrace Inn on Thursday, September 25.

Roxanne Solomon, RBC Vice President for the Eastern Caribbean and Country Manager for RBC St. Lucia, expressed her great satisfaction in having Satney being the new Country Manager. She highlighted many of the new Manager’s qualities which allowed her the opportunity to be recognised for the position.

“Frances was the last Country Manager of Dominica, and she did a great job there. She is a capable, experienced, dedicated member who has devoted her service into building company morale elsewhere, and she is going to do the same here in St. Kitts.

“Frances has the recipe for addressing customers’ needs and I anticipate that she would use those same metrics here on St. Kitts. She has had 28 years of experience and has already been accepted by the staff here. She is one of our few female Country Heads and she does real well. She is really empathetic with both staff and clients and has what it takes to ensure the company sees continued success.”

The new RBC Country Manager, who was on island since June of this year, also expressed her unparalleled appreciation for the

warm reception she received from the local staff and clients as well as the support given by regional Country Heads. She indicated that one of her prime objectives is to expand the market share, maintain a healthy relationship with clients and offer customers a new experience of bank service in St. Kitts.

Satney further stated that she hopes to strengthen the existing services of the company while placing a great deal of concentration on Customer Relations.

Also in attendance and giving their support to the new Manager, were Governor General of St. Kitts-Nevis Dr. Sir Cuthbert Sebastian, Deputy Prime Minister Hon. Sam Condor, His Lordship Justice Francis Bell, Governor of ECCB Sir K. Dwight Venner, and Executive Director of St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank Edmund Lawrence.

Country Manager Satney highlighted the significance of customer service since the market in St. Kitts is small, and projected that through customer relationship development and management, the RBC is bound to expand its business on the island. ~~Adz:Left~~
