First four Customers cash in from C&C Christmas Table

Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 10th 2012 - A Retiree, a clerk, a university student and a Housekeeper have early gifts under their Christmas trees.  They are customers of C&C Superfoods whose names came out in the first draw of its Christmas table promotion.

Two of the early winners claimed it was fate that brought them to winning.  The retired Ian Slack reported that he will shortly be celebrating his golden wedding anniversary and described his prize as timely.  As he looked over the contents of his food hamper he was heard saying “I am a coffee lover, so I’m happy to see that included in the basket among the other lovely items.” The bottle of sparkling cider would probably be broken out for the anniversary toast, compliments his winnings.

As for Somina Amantaye, a Windsor University student, she was in complete shock when she was first contacted about collecting her prize.  When she turned up at the store she was still in disbelief that she had actually won something.  She recalled that it was her Taxi Driver who encouraged her to go back into the store to drop her receipt in the box. “My birthday is days away and I will use this as one of my early birthday presents.  Thank you C&C. I’ll continue to shop at the Bay Road store for sure,” she confirmed.

The other two customers were just as delighted about their prizes and shared their own experiences as patrons of the supermarket.

“It’s a very good feeling to see our customers happy,” remarked Keith Evelyn, the Store’s General Manager.  “Christmas is that one time of year when customers expect businesses to show appreciation for their business over the course of the year.  We are happy that we have met our customers’ expectation as we anticipate their continued support in the New Year and beyond,” he said.

Lots of prizes are left before this promotion ends with the qualifying spend being just $30 to get entrance into one of the prize boxes.  Two prizes in particular have been generating a lot of interest among shoppers since the promotion launch – the one minute shopping spree and the main prize package which includes free cooking gas, free car rentals, and free car service among other things.

The Board of Directors, management and staff of C&C extend appreciation to its customers for their loyal support over the last few months and wish everyone a most joyous Christmas.
