BASSETERRE St. Kitts, December 10th 2012 - Carnival Cruise Lines has once again partnered with local agentand industry specialists, DelisleWalwyn& Co Ltd to provide donations to various organizations and agencies across the Federation.
The Early Childhood Development Unit received eighty television sets with built in DVD players, which will benefit all of the public and private pre-schools across St Kitts and Nevis. In addition to the television sets, donations of used mattresses, outdoor chairs and side tables were provided to the St Christopher Children’s home, The Cardin Home and were also channeled through the Department of Social and Community Development, Government of St Kitts and Nevis for distribution to familiesand organizations in need.
The cruise lines are happy to continue to support the communities, which so warmly welcome their visitors and support their business. All services and costs related to the storage and delivery of the donated items were contributed by the DelisleWalwyn Group of Companies.
The representatives of the recipient organizations expressed their heartfelt appreciation on behalf of the persons and communities they serve, and applauded the partnership among the private sector, the cruise lines, government, and the various charitable agencies towards ensuring that the spirit of giving and community development is exemplified throughout the year.
