    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, MAY 6TH 2005
     Ten students from St. Kitts will be graduating from Cameron University in Okalahoma on Saturday.
     
    The local students graduating are Merita Phyllis Tyrell, Master of Science;  Jaslynn Anderson Taylor, Bachelor of Accounting;  Almon S. Crooke, Bachelor of Business Administration; Sandrene T. Hobson-Francis, Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Psychology; Sheila T. Liburd-Hodge, Bachelor of Science in Psychology; G.E. Donato Scarborough, Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems; Clement J. Williams, Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design Technology, Williams will also received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics; and Shernel C. James, Bachelor of Arts degree in History.
     
    The Ceremony which begins in the University Theatre at 6:00 P.M. include the Opening Remarks by Cameron University President, Dr. Cynthia Ross and the Commencement Address by Professor of History and First Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, Dr. Ralph E. Blodgett, who will be introduced by the 2005 Master of Science Candidate, Mrs. Debbie Crossland.
     
    As Chair of the Graduate Planning Committee between 1982 and 1987, Dr. Blodgett prepared the institutional self-study, and following approval by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, served as the first Dean of the School of Graduate Studies, a post he held from 1988 to 1992. He developed the universitys Graduate Catalog, as well as the programs administrative structure document, its governance document, and its administrative and academic forms.
