BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE today (Jan. 3) have a warrant for the arrest of Allain Delon Bergan of St. Johnson Village.

According to Police Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David, the 35-year-old man is wanted for attempted murder allegedly committed on Monday, July 9, 2012.

Bergan is said to be fair in complexion, 5’9” tall, has dark brown eyes, black hair and weighs 140 pounds.

Inspector David did not provide details on where the alleged offence was committed and to whom. He however informed that the providence of additional details would only serve to jeopardise the police’s investigation.

He warned that Bergan is considered armed and dangerous, must not be approached if seen and anyone knowing of his whereabouts should inform the police.

“Anyone who harbours or helps him in any way to evade the police commits an offence and will be arrested and charged. Also, anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department at 464-2241 extension 220, or the nearest police station,” David cautioned.

He stated that persons having information regarding the whereabouts of the wanted man could also call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477.

“Remember, when you call Crime Stoppers you do not have to give your name or number, and you may be eligible for a reward,” he added.

On July 11, 2012, the police had issued a similar warrant for the wanted man.
