Condor in discussion with constituents on next political move

Hon Sam Condor
By: Terresa McCall, SKNVibes.com

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – PARLIAMENTARY REPRESENTATIVE for Constituency Number Three, the Hon. Sam T. Condor has refuted rumours which suggest that he would be contesting the upcoming general elections as an Independent Candidate.

The rumours suggest that Condor – an executive member of the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party and the Deputy Prime Minister in the Labour Administration – would be throwing his hat into the political ring once again, but this time it would be done independent of the Labour Party.

SKNVibes contacted Condor who denied the rumours but explained that he is in consultation with his constituents and discussions are being held concerning the “way forward”.

“I meet with my constituents regularly. The current situation demands that I meet with them. But we haven’t made that decision...we are just discussing the way forward.”

Asked if he is even considering contesting as an Independent Candidate, Condor informed that “nothing is considered yet, we are just seeing the way forward”.

He explained that during the meetings he holds with his constituents, the various views and opinions are being discussed but no decision as to whether he would contest the election independently, as a Labour candidate or if he would decline contesting the seat has been reached.

But whatever move he will make, Condor was specific in noting that it would be reflective of the wish of those whom he serves; his constituents.
