Birthday greetings were also sent by the writer, who is the Editor-in-Chief and Guyana’s Honorary Consul to St. Kitts and Nevis.
“On behalf of my wife and I and the Government and people of Guyana, as well as the many Guyanese residing in the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, I wish you a very happy 60th birth anniversary. May God guide you in the direction of making St. Kitts and Nevis the envy of the Caribbean for its economic and social growth.
“We all know that the Federation has a huge National Debt similar to what Guyana had experienced, but with you employing the correct remedial measures, I am certain that the island of St. Kitts can regain its prominence as the ‘Mother Colony’ and Nevis as the ‘Queen City’. Keep striving for excellence as we wish you every success in your future endeavours as Political Leader of the Federation.”
