The Dr. William Connor Primary School will be having its Annual Literacy Week of Activities under the theme: Reading Enchantment: Fairytales and Fables. The week will run from Monday 21st – Friday 25th January, 2013.
This exercise is all in an effort to assist students in the nurturing and development of their literacy skills in fun and interesting ways.
One of the many activities slated for the week is the ‘reading of reading tips’ by students across the grades. The students’ ages range from eight to twelve years.
Consequently, we are soliciting the services of your media house in accommodating the students to read the given tips on air at a convenient time to you.
We wish also to extend an invitation to you to provide coverage of the other activities.
Kindly find attached a copy of the week’s activities.
