Breast Cancer Patients Assistance

Basseterre, St. Kitts - Dr. Cameron Wilkinson, Dr. Kathleen Allen-Ferdinand and Ms. Elizabeth Kelsick, Barrister-at-Law, wish to advise the general public of the establishment, and their appointment as Trustees, of a charitable trust known as “The St Kitts-Nevis Breast Cancer Patients Assistance Fund” which was founded by a breast cancer survivor who resides in St Kitts.

The object of the Trust is to provide financial assistance to persons in St Kitts and Nevis suffering from breast cancer, who satisfy a means test, to enable them to obtain necessary treatment, including chemotherapy and radiation.

With the generous initial donation from the Trust’s founder, the Trustees will be able to invite applications for assistance from January 15, 2009.

 However, without contributions from the wider public, the Trustees will be able to assist only a small percentage of the applicants. They therefore encourage all persons to make such contributions to the Trust as they are able.  A bank account Number 10011580 has been opened at The Bank of Nova Scotia and all contributions will be greatly appreciated.
