BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, January 24th, 2013 (CUOPM) - Amerijet International, Inc. first Boeing 767 wide body freighter flight into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport touched down Wednesday at 1pm local time, carrying freight for the local market and taking freight from St. Kitts to various major cities in the USA.
Pamela Rollins, Amerijet’s Sr. Vice President of Business Development, said “This aircraft allows us to increase capacity to and from the market, the B767 has a cargo capacity of 96,000 pounds of freight.”
Ken Pennyfeather, Station Director further added, “This is our first scheduled B767 flight to St. Kitts, it is our goal to have the B767 become part of the weekly scheduled flight rotation, as we continue to explore ways to make St. Kitts a North Caribbean Air Cargo Hub for Amerijet.”
Amerijet currently operates Boeing 727-200s out of Miami on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays into the St. Kitts & Nevis market, with connecting flights from Curacao\Aruba on Mondays, from St. Maarten and Guadeloupe on Wednesdays and from St. Maarten and Antigua on Fridays.
