Canberra, Australia – West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach will miss Tuesday’s warm-up match against the Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval. The 24-year-old was based in Australia since December but was given leave to attend a personal matter.
He will join the team later this week in Perth. He is expected to be available for the first One-Day International at the WACA Ground on Friday.
The match between West Indies and the Prime Minister’s XI will be the first international game under lights at Manuka Oval. First ball is 2:20 pm (11:20 pm Monday Eastern Caribbean Time/10:20 pm Jamaica Time).
