U.S. Embassy to Hold Facebook Chat on Fulbright Scholarships

    BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, January 29th, 2013  -- Scholarships for studying in the United States will be in focus this Thursday, January 31st when the United States Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean holds a live chat about scholarships on its Facebook page.

     

    The chat will be held on the Embassy’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/USEmbassyBarbados) between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.

     

    An officer of the Embassy’s Public Affairs office, which administers the Fulbright scholarships, will participate and answer questions about available scholarships including those for mid-career professionals, educators and for local colleges to bring in U.S. scholars and experts.

     

    People wishing to participate must be signed up as fans of the Embassy’s Facebook page (www.facebook.com/USEmbassyBarbados). The media is welcome to cover and participate in this online event.
