ARRESTS
BASSETERRE St. Kitts, February 06th, 2013 -- Nakita Richards of Irish Town, Bay Road was formally charged for the offence of Battery, which was committed on 4th February 2013.
Kurt Carty of Crab Hill, Sandy Point was formally charged for the offence of Threatening Language, which was committed on 5th February 2013.
Jason Morton of Cayon was formally charged for the offence of Larceny, which was committed on 13th November 2012.
COURT CONVICTIONS
Basseterre Magistrate Court
Akil Williams of Old Road was convicted for Wounding, which was committed on 2nd January 2013, and fined $5,000.00 which is to be paid in four (4) months or in default will serve six (6) months in prison.
Eustace Thompson of Lower Monkey Hill was convicted for Cultivation of Cannabis, which was committed on 26th June 2012, and fined $8 000.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve two (2) years in prison.
Romeo Richardson of Saddler's Village was convicted for Larceny, which was committed at TDC on 3rd May 2012, and fined $1000.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or in default will serve three (3) months in prison. He was also ordered to pay $40.95 forthwith to the company or in default will serve three (3) days in prison.
Charlestown Magistrate Court
Tafari Tyson of Bath Village was convicted for the offence of Larceny, which was committed between 29th and 20th October 2012, and sentences to three (3)years imprisonment with hard labour.
Vernon Paris of Happy Hill Drive was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 28th January 2013, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid in two (2) months or in default will serve two (2) months in prison with hard labour.
Raymond Deownana of Government Road was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, which was committed on 4th February 2013, and fined $500.00 which is to be paid in three (3) months or in default will serve two (2) months in prison with hard labour.
