Police seek public’s assistance in capturing two wanted men

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE are requesting the assistance of the general public in locating Dana Whyte and Kenrick ‘Kee-Kee’ Thomas who are wanted in connection with an incident of attempted murder and theft respectively.
Whyte has been wanted for several months, as he is suspected of shooting supermarket owner Lenny Ottley during a robbery attempt. The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has indicated that the incident occurred on December 8, 2007.
The alleged perpetrator is said to be 21 years of age, has “black hair and is about five feet nine inches in height and was living at Buckley’s Site”.
Whyte “is considered armed and dangerous” and should not be approached if seen; however,, persons knowing of his whereabouts are asked to “please contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 465-2241 Ext 220/230/236 or the Police Hotline 707 and you can do so anonymously”.
Thomas, an Upper College Street resident, is wanted for a theft that occurred in August 2008. He is described as being of dark complexion, medium build and five feet nine inches tall.
He is also considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. ~~Adz:Right~~
