Basseterre, St Kitts, February 20th, 2013 -- The Jamaican Kittitian (JamKit) Association's Bob Marley/Dennis Brown Tribute in music, song and spoken word in commemoration of the birthdays and the significant contributions to the music industry of these two (2) Reggae Icons has been rescheduled to Thursday, 7 March 2013 starting at 8.30pm.
The JamKit Association is, for the 3rd consecutive year, collaborating with Island Xpressions in their monthly xpress yourself event which will be held at its usual location, Sweet Lime Restaurant, upstairs Mapau. The entrance fee for the Event will be $20 per person.
Singers, musicians, poets and spoken word presenters will pay tribute with their talents while utilizing material given to the world by our departed Reggae Icons or with presentations of their own work supporting these Icons.
All are invited to participate and otherwise support.
PS: The anniversary of Dennis Brown's birthday was on 1 February and that of the Honourable Robert Nesta Marley was on 6 February.
