Von Michael Martin of Bird Rock, St.Kitts successfully completed his postgraduate studies at the prestigious University of London in September of this year, leading to the Master of Science in Finance and Investment from the same institution.
In addition to the core modules undertaken, Von Michael successfully defended his postgraduate dissertation which, in striking relevance to the current global financial crisis, focused on the relevant interaction between the capital structure decisions made by firms in the United Kingdom and the issues of financial conservatism and distress.
In 2007, he obtained his Bachelors Degree in Finance with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of Westminster.
Von Michael is a former winner of the Liamigua Youth Legacy Award and a proud alumnus of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College and the Basseterre High School. He is an avid basketballer, and also enjoys testing his analyses of current market trends by constructing his own models.
Von is the son of Michael Martin and Jacinth Henry-Martin. They join with his grandparents and the extended family in extending congratulations to him for his outstanding achievements, and in wishing him the best in all future endeavours.
