PM Douglas to meet with his Labour Party supporters in Constituency 7

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, March 4th 2013 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas is to meet with supporters of his governing Labour Party living in constiteuncy between Belle Vue and Ottley’s.

     

    The Party’s CEO, Ms. Sharylle Richardson said Prime Minister Douglas, who is also the National Political Leader  of the Labour Party, will address supporters of Constituency #7 at the Labour Branch meeting on Wednesday 6th March 2013 at 7:00 p.m.

     

    She said that the meeting will be held at the Joshua Obadiah Primary School in Molineux and supporters living in Belle Vue, Tabernacle, Mansion, Christ Church, Phillips, Molineux, Bourryeau, Lodge Village, Lodge Project and Ottley’s have been invited and are urged to attend.

     

    Ms. Richardson also said that other members of the Cabinet and National Executive of the Party will also address the meeting.
     
    Wednesday’s meeting is the first being held in the constituency by the National Executive following the dismissal of the sitting Labour Party representative Dr. the Hon. Timothy Harris from the Cabinet.

     

    A similar branch meeting was held in West Basseterre last month, where the current Labour Party Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Sam Condor, resigned from the Cabinet.
