BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, March 6th 2013 (CUOPM) – The construction of a proper drainage system in the Pond Road and Sandown Road areas are down for discussion with residents of the East Basseterre Community on Thursday.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing, Public Works, Energy and Public Utilities, the Hon. Dr. Earl Asim Martin and officials of the ministry will discuss issues at the New Town Community Center on Thursday 7th March 2013. The meeting starts at 6.p.m.
Also down for discussion is the construction of a modern roundabout at the junction of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and the Kim Collins Highway as well as the South East Peninsula Road Project.
Deputy Prime Minister Martin, who is also the Parliamentary Representative for East Basseterre, will be accompanied by other officials including the Acting Director of the Public Works Department as well as the project consultants.
Residents of East Basseterre are kindly asked to make every effort to attend this important meeting and hear about the progress taking place in our communities.
