BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - SHE always appears well-put together from versatile hairstyles to her collection of stylish clothing and accessories, and is considered to be one of the most fashionable females on St. Kitts.
Lower Monkey Hill resident Shantell Williams, a well-known lady of style and fashion, Wednesday night (Feb. 6 ) celebrated her 29th birth anniversary with lots of fun and excitement at the popular Vibes Beach Bar (formerly Ziggy's) on the Frigate Bay Strip.
And SKNVibes’ ‘Fashionista Paparazzi’ was there to capture the moment.
Shantell and her boyfriend Troy Wattley wore complimenting blue outfits for the memorable occasion.
Shantell wore a long blue romper with gold stud-embedded belt and wedge heel sandals, and completed her look with gold accessories, while Troy donned a short sleeve blue and white plaid shirt with blue and white shoes.
The birthday girl's make- up was done by Isis of Elegant Tip and Toes on Rosemary Lane.
Her footwear was acquired from Karen's Fashion, her outfit from Fashion 2020 on Fort Street and her hair was done by Denise of Angel Hair Salon in Cayon.
Asked about her taste in fashion, with a smile Shantell replied: "Well, I like to wear stuff that a lot of people wouldn't wear…classy. I am into a lot of long clothing right now and my ‘hun’ says I look better in long clothes too."
Shantell's gal pals were also stylishly awesome in fashion pieces that collectively saw combat boots to fancy flats, short shirts to mini dresses, and skin-tight skirts to close-fitted jean pants as well as long flowing dresses.
Happy birthday Shantell, happy Birthday Shantell were the personalised lyrics of a popular birthday song performed by Shakal of the Shakal's Entertainment Xpressions (SEX) Band during his serenade for the young beauty.
Later into the night, the celebration posse went onto the dance floor, and during some of catchy tunes the birthday girl literally boogied almost to ground level under the spotlight.
The frolic of Shantell and her girlfriends had attracted the attention of almost all of the patrons within the Vibes Beach Bar.
Shantell, who is employed as a bartender at that business entity, was given the VIP treatment by her co-workers.
On arrival Shantell at the venue with her boyfriend and her gal pals, they were escorted to a reserved table that displayed 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANTELL' on a festive-looking mat.
Three customers, residential students, treated the off-duty bartender to a complimentary shot-glass as they conveyed best wishes to the lady of the night.
Although she was not on the job, Shantell disappeared now and then to make sure the food and drinks for her partying crew were taken care of. She even took a double menu order to accommodate an individual who wished not to participate in the party-prepared cook-up dish.
The birthday girl even fetched her own cake from the kitchen; an iced double layer chocolate cake which was sliced and shared among her guests and co-workers. However, the sharing was done after the starlight candles were lit and singing of the birthday song.
Shantell fed her boyfriend cake as well as her gal pals.
The partying session began shortly before 9:00 p.m. and ended just before 1:00 a.m.
Speaking with the birthday girl, Shantell said her celebration was very good.
“I celebrated my birth-night very, very good and I spent it with the people and friends that I love the most. And that is the most important thing...being with the people who care about me the most. You guys made me very happy and I appreciate that very much. I want to send a shout-out to all of you who made it happen and made me very happy. Thank you!”
Can you believe that Shantell is the proud mother of three - two boys and a girl - and still maintains such a good physique?
