The Council will receive updates on the operations of ECTEL. Two special items on the Agenda are the final recommendation on the draft Electronic Communications Bill, and the framework for the development of a broadband policy and plan for the sub-region.

The Members of Council, who are the Ministers with responsibility for Telecommunications and ICT in the ECTEL Member States, will also participate in a seminar on current emerging issues in the telecommunications and ICT sector.
