Ministry of Trade and Industry week of activities

Press Release

    The Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs has scheduled a week of activities around the theme, “Consumer Justice Now!” in celebration of World Consumer Rights Day (WCRD) 2013. 

     

    At this time the Ministry would like to take this opportunity to encourage all citizens to participate in as many of these activities as possible, so they may gain further knowledge and understanding of pertinent issues surrounding this theme.  In this regard, the following events will be undertaken as a part of our week of activities:

     

     

     

    Sunday, 10th March, 2013 ……… Minister’s Speech Broadcast (ZIZ TV at 7:50 pm) Church Service (Wesleyan Holiness Pastor Herbert 10 am)

     


    Monday, 11th March, 2013………Rebroadcast of Minister’s Speech (ZIZ Radio at 7:30 am)

     


    Tuesday, 12th March, 2013……    Informative discussion and give aways FREEDOMFM – Sugar Bowl Show 10am ZIZ RADIO  GQ  2 pm to 3pm 

     


    Wednesday 13th March 2013 …… Informative discussion and give aways WINNFM - Breakfast show 10 am-10:30am

     


    Thursday, 14th March, 2013……. . Presentation of the first Consumer Supermarket of the Year award, followed by a presentation to the Factories who offered consistent support to the week of activities during previous years. (11 am Ministry’s of Tourism Conference room)    

     


    Friday 15th March 2013………….Consumer March and Parade day with primary and High Schools  (10:00 am – 12:00 pm)
