Singer Aria confirmed for Linkage Awards in NYC

    NY: Jamaican based reggae singer Aria, who cites Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Sade, Rhianna and Marcia Griffiths as musical influences will be one of the a new breed of young, rising stars that will grace the stage at the 3rd annual Linkage Awards that takes place at the Mt Vernon High School in New York on Saturday, March 16. Aria will join reggae legend Bunny Wailer, Coco Tea, John Holt and Sanchez as performers at the event.

     

    When asked about her upcoming performance at the Linkage Awards, Aria told INL, "I think that it's a privilege and an incredible opportunity to be performing at this year's Linkage Awards on March 16th in New York. I'm excited about performing amongst some of the best artists and entertainers in the business. I feel blessed" she said. Aria has used a combination of neo soul and reggae as well as dancehall to communicate her strong, infectious music.

     

    Since she officially launched her music career, Aria has released five singles including “Goose Pimples”, "Fulltime Love", "Sweet Loving," "Come Back To Me" and the most recent “Trust Mi (Don’t Watch Mi)”. The songs have all been received with positive reviews and have been getting airplay locally and internationally.

     

    It is said that Aria will be the next Jamaican female sensation to explode on the international music scene, evidenced by the progress she has be making since the start of her journey. She has been performing at various corporate functions and has been apart of the live music scene locally.

     

    Her latest accomplishment includes being signed to an independent label Realm Music Group in Florida, as well as the completion of her debut album entitled ‘Fulltime Love’.
