SANDY POINT, St. Kitts and Nevis (March 27, 2013): BLACK SAN’ unravels an explosive week of unlimited revelry, entertainment and fun for everyone. Organizers have promised a fusion of bashes and parties, with a spectacular slate of events, expected to draw thousands to the town of Sandy Point.
This weeks exciting calendar, boasts events from jaw dropping swimsuit pageants to regional entertainers and from family outings to jouvert fetes: a mix that is said to have a bit of something for everyone! This comes as no surprise, as the festival continues to deliver unique surprises!
Thursday’s (March 28th) event is one for the entire community as it’s the 3rd Annual SPIRIT game Show which features the crowd pleasing Rams Price is Right, the Family Feud and the presenters have added a brand new ‘MINUTE TO WIN IT’ game at the Sandy Point Hard Court! This is one of Black San’s treat to families, one that provides opportunities to win impressive prizes just by walking through the gate. You have to be there to experience it all!
On Saturday 30th March, Sandy Point will come alive with the 3rd SKNVibes Appleton Knockshore Night; one of the most anticipated events on the 2013 BLACK SAN’ calendar that features Dancehall Singjay- Jah Vinci from out of Jamaica.
The previous two years were all scorchers and organizers have promised another BLACK SAN sizzle with four of the federation’s top bands set to CLASH with Music Festival type performances. Four stages will come alive as the Nu Vybes Band Int’l, Grand Masters Band, Kollision Band & the Small Axe band take turns at electrifying the audience. The main stage area will host an abundance of top local selectors as they take part in the first ever SP vs. SK Sound Clash. Gates open at 9:00pm SHARP.
Highlights of last years festival will be infused with added twists that guarantee to create overwhelming impressions such as the LIME Ms. Black San swim suit pageant on Sunday 31st March, in which contestants will compete in what promises to be jaw dropping segments.
The five lovely ladies will vie for the title of LIME Ms. BLACK SAN’ 2013 and an opportunity to represent the festival at this year’s Ms. Venus Swimsuit pageant normally staged in Anguilla during the month of June. Last years event was memorable and with the addition of international soca sensation Claudette Peters as guest host and performer, the pageant coordinators promises that this year’s event will not be a disappointment! Show time is at 8:00pm. All this and much more for just EC$30.
The fun doesn't yet end! For the street revelers who never get bored of carnival carefree celebration, BLACK SAN j'ouvert jam is what's happening!
