CHARLESTOWN Nevis, April 10th, 2013 -- I am very excited and pleased to announce the promotion of our very own James Eaton to his new position of Chef de Partie (Assistant Manager) within the culinary team effective 7th April.
James starter his cooking career at the Nisbet Plantation way back in 1998 and after 4 years of hard work and training he joined Four Seasons in 2002 in the capacity of cook 2 and he was promoted to cook 1 in 2006. At this time he was instrumental to the success of our Neve restaurant and he continued to hone his craft till the closure in 2008.
After leaving the Four Seasons he was very fortunate to hold the position as head chef at the Yachtsman’ s Grill till from 2008 till the opening of the resort and James joined us again. This time as cook 1 and back into his old home, Neve restaurant.
James has always shown interest in learning new ways of the trade and new food styles, he would ask lot of questions to ensure he would get things right from the beginning and he would be ready for any challenge. However, one of his biggest attributes is that James is willing to listen and learn and that makes him the perfect fit for this position.
