By: Brimstone Hill Society, Press Release

BASSETERRE St. Kitts, April 18th, 2013   --  The Brimstone Hill Society is celebrating 18th April 2013 International Day for Monuments and Sites, with the launch of the new Charles Fort web page on our web site. The theme for this year’s day which is being celebrated worldwide is the “Heritage of Education”.

Heritage sites like Charles Fort provide wonderful and unique opportunity for education. These sites teach us about events which shaped our societies as well as the achievements, sacrifices, and struggles of our people.

Please visit our new Charles Fort web page which will be up this afternoon and read about this fascinating Fort. Images will be uploaded at a later date.
