This is what I give to my children. A mother of 5 children 3 princesses and 2 prince.
I am contestant # 8 25 year old Deslia DeSouza a proud, confident, strong and charismatic person born on November 3, 1987 to the parent of Sheila Browne and Desmond DeSouza.
I looked up to my mother as my role model because she is my teacher, adviser, and greatest inspiration. So I show my children the same thing each and every day.
I love to inspire other mothers to make the best of everything with their children and to also instill respect and love within their children to carry on into the future.
I entered this pageant to show and tell other mothers that we can be recognize in other skills and talents and not just seen as a mother who works hard and take care of our children.
I would lastly like to leave a few quotes that I follow everyday with my children.
“One good mother is worth a hundred schoolmaster.”
“The strength of a motherhood is greater than natural laws.”
“God could not be everywhere and therefore he made mothers.”
I invite everyone to come to Carnival Village on May 25th at 8pm sharp to see eight vibrant and strong beautiful mothers. To my fellow contestants remember we are all winners.
