Powell and his team are finalizing plans for  a grand opening of the office which will be located in a newly constructed building on the Corner of Cayon Street and Thibou Ave.

The office is expected to be occupied and manned by Campaign workers and volunteers and be the hub for Central Basseterre Campaign related activities.

The "New Brand of Politics" Campaign Office Grand Opening Rally, as it is being dubbed,  will be a community event for children and adults alike regardless of political affiliation. Constituents from all other constituencies are invited to come and celebrate with the Central Basseterre family.

The Central Basseterre seat was at one time considered the stronghold of PAM when it was held by the party’s former leader and the country’s first Prime Minister the Rt. Hon Dr Sir Kennedy A Simmonds who won the seat in 5 consecutive elections from from 1979 to 1995.

The rally begins at 5 pm and will run until 12 midnight.
