Music Festival line-up released

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – AFTER weeks of anticipation the ‘cat’ is finally out of bag as patrons were today (May. 1) informed of the exciting line-up for the 17th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival.

     

    The official announcement was made this morning during a breakfast press conference held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.

     

    Enthusiasm is at a high with the several world class acts, regional sensations and local favourites slated to rock the Warner Park Stadium on the nights of June 27–29, 2013.

     

    The Thursday evening – also known as the ‘Jump up Night’ – would feature the sweetest band in the world Small Axe, the Sugar Band Nu Vybes International, the Grand Masters Band and the Kore Band out of Nevis.

     

    It will also feature Fay-Ann Lyons and Super Blue and Bunji Garlin out of Trinidad.

     

    The Friday night line-up is equally impressive with local sensations Dejour, Dagah and Charles Emmanuel, and coming out of the land of Reggae, Jamaica, will be Tessanne Chin, Konshens, Shaggy and Beres Hammond.

     

    The curtains will come down on the much-anticipated Festival on Saturday night (June 29) with performances by Cayon Pantastics of St. Kitts, Andy Narell featuring Relator, Etienne Charles and the ‘Hello singer, Lionel Richie.
     
    Admission to the 17th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival is EC$100 or US$40.
