BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE are investigating the circumstances which resulted in a three-vehicle accident along the Island Main Road in Cayon and the death of the driver of one of the vehicles. The incident occurred this morning (May 2).
Details are still sketchy. However, SKNVibes understands that it involved a motor omnibus identified as ‘Big Blue’ (HA72) and two other vehicles which were parked along the road.
The driver, Irvin Hughes, reportedly suffered an illness while operating the vehicle, lost control of it and collided with two others.
He was reportedly pronounced dead on the scene by a District Medical Officer.
