BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MEET Telpher Murraine, she is Kajola Kristada’s Employee of the Month (EoM) for March 2013.
As an employee of Kajola for approximately 14 years, Murraine was recently informed that her hard work and dedication have paid off and her picture would hang amongst those of her peers who have similar accomplishments under their belts during the past year.
SKNVibes recently interviewed a bright-eyed Murraine, who admitted that she was not too surprised on receipt of the news of her award. Nonetheless, she gives praise to Almighty God, without whom – she explained – her accomplishment would not have been possible.
“Mrs. James always calls me about things related to my Bishop, so when she called me I thought it had something to do with church; but then she put the news to me. I was not really that surprised because it was something that I was looking forward to.
“I met the criteria, I met my target, I come to work early and while I always do my best, I did put in the extra effort. I love Kajola dearly and I am always willing to put in the extra effort for my job. I give thanks to God because it is all about Him. If He did not wake me up daily, then I could not go to work and do my best. I give all praise and honour to Him. It is all about God and it is God that I serve.”
Murraine – a worker on the Mini-initial Production Line - indicated to SKNVibes that she has already informed her family of the award and they have encouraged her to continue in that vein.
She said her supervisor – Beulah Sutton-Belle – although she was not around when the news was broken, has already sent her congratulatory comments via Facebook; something that she greatly appreciates.
While Murraine glories in her achievement, she offered words of encouragement for those who have yet to win such an award.
“Hang in there. A bad wind never blows, and the time when you feel you are not going to win it that is when you just might win it. So hang in there and trust God! Believe in yourself and build your confidence.”
Congratulations Telpher!
