SCAM Alert for LIME customers

Basseterre, St. Kitts ,13 November 2008 -  LIME Caribbean has been made aware that customers may be receiving calls or text messages from numbers in the +88213 range.

This is a global mobile spam which is affecting many carriers including LIME.

LIME wishes to advise mobile customers who receive calls from persons using a + 88213 number range that these are fraudulent calls and you should not return those calls.

Customers who call back an 88213 number will be charged at $15 US per minute.

To avoid this scam, please DO NOT return calls or text messages to numbers in a + 88213 range.
Every effort is being made by LIME Caribbean to deny access to our network by these scam operators.
