BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – POLICE on Nevis are investigating a shooting incident that took please earlier this morning (May 14) which has reportedly left a young man fighting for his life at the Alexandra Hospital.
SKNVibes was reliably informed that the incident took place sometime after 8:00 a.m. and sources close to the police confirmed that it happened in the “Cliff Dwellers” area, where the young man reportedly works.
The victim is said to be a Challenger of Pond Hill and, according to unconfirmed reports, he was working when fired upon and was struck several times to various parts of his body.
Details are still sketchy but this publication understands that the young man is in critical condition.
SKNVibes made contact with the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Officer Inspector Lyndon David about the incident and he indicated that he has no information on it and therefore cannot provide a comment.
