BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE doors of Best For Less swung open yesterday morning (Nov. 14) and welcomed a host of appreciative customers to its first ever store-wide ‘Obama Sale’.
The sale is offering customers discounts from 20 percent upward on all merchandise, including office desks, bathroom supplies, clothing, appliances, beds, office chairs, fans, rugs, organisers and accessories.
In an interview with SKNVibes, Manager of the store Pranil ‘Black Indian’ Jayakal said the idea for an Obama Sale was birthed after Barack Obama became the President-elect of the United States of America. He said persons are very much familiar with Obama and would relate well with a sale bearing his name.
Jayalkal said response to the sale has been encouraging and patronage yesterday was more than is usually seen on weekends.
Asked if this sale is a “one-off” venture, the Manager explained that whether it is carried over into the next weekend and possibly other weekends, the sale is dependent on public’s response and the level of patronage.
~~Adz:Right~~The two-day extravaganza sale continues today at 9:00 a.m. sharp, and in encouraging members of the public to take advantage of the deals and specials offered by Best For Less, the Manager said, “You have to come in order to see what we have in order to buy. Then you will buy because once you see the wide variety of items we have to offer you will not be able to refuse.”
He reminded that the variety of items offered at the store is wide and caters to all ages and tastes.
The store is situated on the Frigate Bay Road, opposite the Shell Gas Station
