    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 6TH 2005 -
     Five bills will be introduced and given their First Reading when the St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly meets on Thursday.
                                 
    A minor amendment to the St. Christopher and Nevis Citizenship Bill will be piloted through all three stages in the lawmaking body during that sitting.
     
    The St. Christopher and Nevis Vacation Plan and Time Sharing Bill 2005, will be introduced by Minister of State in the Ministry of Tourism, Senator, the Hon. Richard Skerritt.
     
    Minister of National Security, Justice, Immigration and Labour, the Hon. Dwyer Astaphan will introduce and have read a first time, the Repatriation of Prisoners Bill 2005.
     
    Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, the Hon. Delano Bart will introduce and have read a first time, the Divorce Bill, 2005, while Minister of Health, the Hon. Rupert Herbert will have read a first time, the Nurses and Midwives (Registration) Bill 2005.
     
    Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Senator the Hon. Nigel Carty will seek leave to introduce and have read a first time, the National Trust Bill, 2005.
     
    The minor amendment to the St. Christopher and Nevis Citizenship Act, changes the definition of Minister with a new definition to mean Prime Minister. The debate on this piece of legislation is expected to be short.
     
    The National Assembly meeting on Thursday begins at 10:00 A.M.
