BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - POLICE on Nevis are busy making investigations into two separate incidents that occurred between last evening (May 20) and this morning, resulting in the death of two young people.
SKNVibes received information suggesting that a young lady – said to be a Sixth Form student – was discovered dead sometime last evening. Where she was found, by whom and the circumstances which may have led to her death are still unclear to this publication.
Police have however indicated that they are actively pursuing any leads which they might have regarding this incident.
Meanwhile, sometime during the wee hours of today (May 21) police received reports of a shooting incident in the Fountain area.
The incident resulted in the death of a young man identified as Jamal Isles. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the incident occurred in his home.
A further update on these incidents will be provided as more information becomes available.
Persons having information about these incidents are asked to make contact with the nearest police station with a view to passing on such to the police. This can be done on condition of anonymity.
