BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - NOTABLE businessman Kishu Chandiramani, the owner of RAM’S Trading Company Limited, is recovering from two recent operations conducted in the United States of America.
Information reaching this publication states that Chandiramani had been ailing for some time and family members had decided to seek advanced medical treatment.
Informed sources stated that he was suffering from some form of respiratory illness for quite some time and it had began to take a toll on his health.
This media house learned that after the businessman’s condition had worsened, he was flown out of the Federation, underwent surgeries and is now being treated at a rehabilitation centre in the USA.
He is said to be on the road to recovery, as he is doing better than he was one month ago.
Kishu Chandiramani introduced the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis to RAM’S Wholesale and RAM’S Supermarket in 1960. Since their establishment, the companies have grown into some of the most dynamic businesses in the Federation.
They have also expanded to include a number of subsidiaries such as Karibhana, RAM’S Duty Free Shop and Smoke and Booze, as well as affiliates that include Delisle Walywn and Company Ltd. and Nirvana Restaurant.
